CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of the many cannabinoids, a type of compound, found naturally in the hemp plant. It interacts with your body’s receptors to promote overall health and wellbeing, as well as other potential benefits.
CBD has a number of potential benefits, including supporting overall health and well-being, easing occasional stress and anxiety, supporting a healthy sleep cycle, and easing slight aches and pains due to overexertion.

Yes, you can receive a CBD Infusion in combination with IV therapies. However, we do not recommend mixing with NAD therapy as it can increase the chances of detox or flu-like symptoms. It can be used well with fluids such as myers cocktail, vitamins and other maintenance fluids.
During a CBD IV session, a healthcare professional will insert an IV line into your vein. The CBD solution is then infused directly into your bloodstream. CBD interacts with receptors in the endocannabinoid system, which is involved in regulating various bodily functions.
CBD is generally well-tolerated, and serious side effects are rare. Depending on your sensitivity to CBD, you may experience:
In higher doses, some individuals may experience mild side effects such as flu-like symptoms, drowsiness, dry mouth, changes in appetite, or gastrointestinal discomfort.
These side effects may be referred to as "Herxheimer Reaction." H2Hydro Medi Spa has a protocol to minimize the risk of this side effect which will be administered prior, during and after your infusion. Although the reaction is not fully understood, however it is thought to be due to the release of toxins from dying bacteria or other pathogens (detoxification).
CBD IV therapy may not be suitable for everyone. Individuals with certain medical conditions, such as liver disease or low blood pressure, may need to avoid or use caution with CBD IVs. Inform your provider about your medical history and any medications you're taking to ensure safety and efficacy.
The duration of each can vary depending on the specific protocol and individual factors. Generally, sessions may range from 30 minutes to an hour. Your provider will determine the appropriate infusion time for your needs.
The number of CBD IV sessions needed varies depending on your goals, concerns, and response to treatment. Some individuals may benefit from a single session, while others may require multiple sessions over a designated period. Your provider can guide you on the recommended treatment plan. We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks in between CBD IV therapies.
